We have an exciting opportunity to taken on the newly-created role of Project Claims & Accounts Receivable Officer in our Finance Department, based in the Adelaide CBD - very close to public transport and beautiful cafes. You will have the opportunity to put your experience to good use and make this role your very own.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Claims & Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. Ideally you will have experience preparing and administering monthly project claims as per the contracts and managing accounts receivable. You will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and administer monthly claims as per the contracts including contract variations and back charges
- Participate in project meetings and follow-up scope changes and associated variations and claims
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies
- Manage accounts receivable functions
- Monitor and reconcile accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and data
- Identify and resolve claims and accounts receivable discrepancies
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding claims and accounts receivable matters
- Continuously improve claims and accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Upload payment files (EFT) to banking system

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Project Claims and Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
- Experience in preparing and administering monthly claims
- Experience in managing accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience will be highly regarded
