West HQ is looking for a passionate and dedicated In-House Training and Development Coordinator to join our team and help shape the future of our workforce.

**About the Role**:
This isn’t just any job - this is a chance to be the go-to person for all things training at a business that never stands still. As the In-House Training and Development Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our team, delivering top-notch training sessions, designing fun and engaging learning programs, and making sure our staff is equipped with the skills, knowledge and qualifications to thrive in their roles.

**This role will require you to**:

- Facilitate training sessions and workshops that are fun, interactive, and tailored to the needs of our diverse teams.
- Be the mastermind behind training content, ensuring it’s engaging and relevant to our dynamic business.
- Keep us compliant by ensuring certifications and qualifications are always up to date.
- Build relationships with external training providers to negotiate pricing and tailor content that hits the mark.
- Champion community engagement, coordinating work experience programs, industry partnerships, and careers days.
- Provide generalist HR and administration support to help keep things running smoothly.

**About the Team**:
Here at West HQ we’re not your typical HR team. Yes, we’re serious about the work we do, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Our team is full of passionate, energetic, and dedicated people who truly love what they do and aren’t afraid to roll up our sleeves to get things done.

We are a large employer with unique needs, operating 7 days a week with employees working across day shifts, night shifts, early mornings, and overnight hours. While our HR team isn’t required to work overnight shifts, we recognise that flexibility is key. It’s not your conventional 9-5 environment, so from time to time, there will be work that needs completing outside of these hours.

**About You**:
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate, proactive, and committed to doing things better. You take pride in your work and how you do it, constantly seeking new ways to do things better. You know how to make training sessions fun and impactful, and you’re ready to take on the challenge of ensuring every employee has the skills and knowledge to succeed.

**You will have**:

- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management (preferred).
- Facilitation skills with the ability to present training sessions and workshops effectively.
- Generalist HR experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven experience in training coordination and content design.
- Experience tracking certifications and conducting audits.
- Strong HR administration skills, including data entry, reporting, and employee support.
- Flexibility - we’re a 24/7 business, and we need someone who work outside the usual 9am-5pm to accommodate our busy periods.
- Full Australian Work Rights.
- Willingness to obtain an RSA and RCG Competency Card.

The salary currently on offer for this position is between $75,000 - $80,000 + (negotiable, depending on skills and experience).
