**Job Description**:
**Purpose of your role**

The delivery lead role is a critical role that is responsible for leading, supporting and coaching Agile delivery teams to achieve high performance, and enabling high quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team. You will be adept at breaking down barriers for the teams, planning at a high-level and getting into the detail to make things happen as needed. You will optimize team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team.

Where required you will lead special projects or deliveries by managing project scope, schedules, reporting and managing stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of key business strategies.

**What you will be doing**:
**Delivery and Planning**
- Understanding business needs, effective communication with technical teams, followed by facilitation of the prioritization, scheduling and delivery of features
- Project capabilities
- Budget management, Vendor management, Partner Management, Planning Change, Testing etc.
- Partnering with engineering and delivery teams through all phases of development to deliver on-time, high-quality software
- Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress
- Empowering, leading and coaching a geographically dispersed development team to be successful, self-organized and adaptive
- Ensuring a clear plan and delivery in line with project and product requirements
- Working with Product Managers and other business stakeholders to manage dependencies

**Agile processes**
- Facilitating daily stand-up meetings
- Ensuring that work items are prepared for development and have been adequately estimated
- Identifying issues that impede delivery and work to resolve them
- Communicating the progress of the team in each sprint
- Driving the team to ensure sprint commitments are fulfilled
- Assessing the scrum maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of Scrum Maturity

**Teamwork and stakeholder engagement**
- Displaying leadership qualities and a passion for working collaboratively

**Communication**
- Maintaining consistent and constant communication with stakeholders
- Working closely with the development team to ensure the right changes are delivered within a sprint.

**Continuous improvement**
- Ensuring team has a culture of continuous improvement

**Qualifications**:

- Agile certifications to include: CSM, CSP, PMI’s ACP, SAFe, PMP or Lean Six Sigma

**_ Knowledge, skills, experience_**
- 4+ years as a Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master working in fast paced digital and Agile environments utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks
- Collaborative and able to influence multiple stakeholders to move toward a solution within required timeframes
- Strong understanding of all project life cycle aspects
- Proven ability to drive and motivate delivery teams
- Demonstrated experience working on Scrum and/or Kanban based products
- Knowledge of and significant experience working with Jira and Confluence is required
- Experience in Financial services is preferred
