**About the role**

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is developing a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) program in Toukley, Central Coast. This program will provide quality care and services to residents. As a Team Leader of this program, you will be responsible for developing program schedules according to our participant needs, day to day management and rostering of staff and exceptional client/stakeholder engagement. The role will include direct support with participants.

This is a Permanent Full-time position.

**Duties**
- To lead and inspire a team of Residential Support Workers.
- A clear understanding of how to develop and achieve person-centred plan objectives for our residents.
- Strong and clear communication skills to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure client outcomes are exceeded.
- A variety of tasks which may include proactive problem solving, provision of personal care, enteral feeding, high physical support and more.
- Develop, review, and actively maintain all the resident care/support plans in conjunction with all stakeholders, residents, families, and other service providers to ensure the healthcare needs of residents are achieved.
- Onboarding needs for Staff and Participants
- Participation in an on-call roster which includes staff and resident support outside normal business hours, weekends and overnight.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in leading a Supported Independent Living (SIL) program.
- Tertiary qualifications in appropriate areas desirable.
- Sound knowledge of accommodation, group and/or shared living arrangements, and the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Proven ability to lead, develop a team and foster teamwork.
- First Aid Certification.
- NSW Driver’s Licence.
- An understanding of NDIS, Disability Service Standards and relevant legislation.

- Experience and understanding of the Roster of Care and Master roster.
- Experience working with residents with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
- National Police Check
- Working With Childrens Check
