**The Organisation**

Our client is an Australian founded company experiencing an exciting growth phase. With business entities across Australia, this organisation is going from strength to strength and require the skills of an experienced Payroll Manager to join their fast-paced team in a stand-alone capacity. With excellent staff benefits, and flexible working arrangements on offer, this role will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer looking for their next challenge.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting into the Financial Controller the role is autonomous with key tasks involving:

- Timely and accurate processing of all fortnightly and monthly Payroll for up to 400 employees
- Business partner to Venues to answer employee payslip queries
- Monthly and Year end reconciliations and reporting
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual compliance lodgements
- Issuing new contracts and on-boarding processes
- Internal stakeholder reporting as required
- Driving continuous improvements and efficiencies across the payroll function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll position along with the following skills and attributes:

- Previous experience in full function Payroll processing
- Proven experience leading and managing teams
- Micropay experience will be highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Experience working in a medium to large organisation
- Proven process improvement initiatives
