**About our client**

Our client is a reputable business in a thriving industry. The organisation boasts a supportive and high-performing work culture with excellent opportunities for staff. Due to recent projects, our client is seeking an experienced ichris Payroll Officer to join their team based in Hawthorn on a temporary basis.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with reconciliation of leave balances
- Building reports/report writing
- Relevant EBA and award interpretation
- Provide high-quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiries
- Taking charge of payroll queries
- Understanding of iChris

**The successful applicant will have**
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
- Experience with **iChris **is essential for this position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team-based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
