**Your role**

The Finance and Reporting division plays a critical role in managing LAHC's financial management, business reporting, and financial systems. A key component of this role is property valuations, which underpin the financial budgeting and activities of Homes NSW and the NSW Government.

As an Assistant Program Officer - Valuations, you will support the Program and Contract Management principals in delivering, managing, and implementing a range of initiatives to enhance and improve property valuation services.

**What you’ll do**

You will assist in managing a range of programs aimed at delivering initiatives to LAHC, Housing Portfolio, and Homes NSW.

You’ll take ownership of the operational aspects of program implementation, including monitoring plans, schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring deliverables and tasks are met on time.

You will provide operational advice to stakeholders on program status and implementation issues, analysing challenges and recommending appropriate solutions within delegation and context.

You'll work as part of a team of to assist in preparing program-related documents such as briefing notes, status updates, reports, discussion papers, budgets, and procurement documents and utilise project management methodologies in all aspects of program delivery.

**What we’re looking for**
- A solid understanding of project management practices.
- An understanding of valuation principles in managing a comprehensive program of work.
- Preference for tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
