Ministerial and Parliamentary positions play a critical role in supporting parliamentary activities for departments and portfolio Ministers’ offices. Services include processing and handling ministerial documents, coordination of departmental appearances at Senate Estimates and committee hearings, accounts payable services for ministerial offices, coordinating legislation across the portfolio, and management of the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS).

This recruitment is seeking to fill vacancies within Ministerial and Parliamentary Services sections across multiple APS Departments. **Please note this is being led by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet**.

We are seeking people with excellent attention to detail, a sound working knowledge of ministerial correspondence and parliamentary systems and processes, or a strong capacity to develop these skills quickly, in particular:
**Ministerial Correspondence Officers** contribute to the processing of ministerial correspondence and briefs. This is from delivery, registration and allocation through to quality assurance, printing and dispatch of material.

**Parliamentary Officers** play a key role contributing to the parliamentary activities including coordination of question time briefs; parliamentary questions on notice; and Senate estimates briefings and hearings.

**PDMS Officers** provide administrator and technical support in relation to PDMS, the primary workflow solution for all Parliamentary records.
