**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting to the Team Leader Senior Inventory Planner, we are looking for a **Parts Inventory Planner **to help with the management of branch inventory across the dealership, based at our Clayton Head office Branch.

**Your key responsibilities will include the following**:

- Regular contact with Branches, Suppliers and CAT Parts Logistics and Customer Service Team.
- Maintenance of Parts System Master Files via Inventory Reports.
- Setting and adjusting branch stocking levels.
- Review and compare vendor service and products to ensure all vendors continue to meet business needs.
- Review inventory costs to ensure best value for money.
- Review and ordering of parts from sundry suppliers (as required).
- Identify product or process problems and opportunities for improvement.

**ABOUT YOU**

**You will ideally have the following skills, experience & attributes**:

- Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships
- Highly coordinated with excellent attention to detail
- Flexible to undertake varying work with changing priorities in a dynamic fast paced environment.
