**Why we need you**:
Demand for our services is steadily increasing and we are therefore seeking Surveyors and Mining Engineers with the ability to undertake a variety of consulting assignments for our clients. You will be expected to work in a close and supportive team environment. Our Principal Consultants will mentor your development while you are expected to demonstrate commitment and willingness to learn.

**You Will Require**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Surveying or Engineering are essential.
- Demonstrated experience in surveying or engineering.
- Working knowledge of a Mining software such as AutoCad, Surpac or Deswik is essential.
- Experience working with Leica Total Station equipment is highly regarded.
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- High degree of self-motivation with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks.
- A professional attitude and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a full medical and DnA.
- National Police Clearance Certificate.

**The Role / Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting with surveying and Engineering work at multiple mining sites around Australia. In addition to this, you will be:

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory regulations, as well as site specific operating standards.
- Install and maintain accurate survey controls throughout the mine and surrounding surface areas.
- Maintain accurate survey records of all mine workings and surface infrastructure.
- Carry out detailed surveys for reporting end-of-month development and stockpile volumes.
- Carry out aerial survey work as required using Drones and associated processing software.
- Effectively operate and maintain Leica Total Station and GPS equipment and process data using Deswik or other mining software.
- Produce survey plans and memos as required to a high standard.
- Generate accurate survey data and effectively communicate information to the technical team in a timely manner.
