**Senior Bottle Shop Sales Assistant - LiquidHQ (Casual)**

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable team member to join **LiquidHQ**, South Yarra’s home for _serious drinks, playful service, and a premium feel—without the premium price tag_.

This **casual role** suits someone with **at least 3 years’ experience** in retail or hospitality (bar/bottle shop), who is confident working solo, has solid product knowledge, and can close the store independently. It’s an **ideal second job** for someone who wants extra income in the evenings or weekends without committing to a full-time schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers and offer knowledgeable product recommendations.
- Operate the POS, process sales and loyalty points, verify ID, and manage returns.
- Manage the store independently during shifts, including evening close.
- Maintain stock levels, rotate displays, and keep the store clean and inviting.

**About You**
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years in a retail or hospitality role (bottle shop, bar, or similar).
- **Product Knowledge**: Confident discussing and recommending alcohol products.
- **Independence**: Comfortable working alone and handling store closing responsibilities.
- **Customer Focus**: Warm, approachable, and able to connect with all kinds of customers.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accurate with cash handling, stock rotation, and display presentation.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 18+ and legally permitted to sell alcohol in Victoria.
- Current **Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)** certificate (Victoria).
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $33.31 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
