Service Desk Supervisor - 10-month contract - Seven Hills - $60 + S per hour

**Your new company**

This government organisation is seeking an enthusiastic outgoing IT Service Desk Supervisor with excellent leadership and customer service skills. Located near Seven Hills, they are offering an initial 10-month contract paying $60 + s per hour. There will be potential for the contract to be extended once the 10 months has been completed.

**Your new role**

This is an exciting leadership position for an experienced IT Service Desk Supervisor who will be managing tickets and making sure the level 1 and 2 Service desk officers are delivering high quality IT support to all users and vendors. You will be able to follow the ITSM and ITIL processes and be certified in ITILv3 or ITILv4 Foundation. You will be the first escalation point for all users and be able to fix the issue in a timely manner. You be providing regular performance meetings and KPI reporting.

You will be able to communicate with your team members and provide training and guidance where needed. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service and can drive performance improvement, then this could be a great role for you

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Have at least 3 years’ experience as an IT Supervisor
- Certified in ITILv3 or ITILv4 Foundation
- Strong experience managing tickets
- Have strong customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Regular performance and KPI reporting
- Strong communication skills (will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders)
- Strong training and guidance skills
- Strong experience dealing with escalations
- Experience with Microsoft servers and operating systems
- Strong time management skills
