Sydney, Australia T+O+M Executive Full time

T+O+M Executive are currently recruiting an exciting **Commercial Lead - Expense Management** position with a Technology driven ASX Listed Group.
- Newly created position supporting the GM of FP&A
- Delivery of expense management initiatives and commercial analysis, budget planning, forecasting and expense/productivity reporting
- $200k - $210k including super + bonus opportunity

**Key responsibilities**:
**Financial Insight**
- Lead the analyses of the Group's expense structure to uncover opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Provide insights to the executive team and decision support on complex financial data into clear and actionable recommendations for improving profitability.

**Strategic Leadership**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive expense management strategy that aligns with the company's overarching goals and business development plans.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set clear financial targets, KPIs, and benchmarks.
- Build and lead a high-performing expense management team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

**Business Partnering**
- Collaborate closely with finance and business leaders to align expense management strategies.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to discuss expense trends, cost-saving initiatives, and opportunities for resource reallocation, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all stakeholders.

**Finance Transformation**
- Lead the evaluation and improvement of current expense management processes, as well as involvement in the implementation of expense management technologies.

**Requirements for Success**:

- CA or CPA qualified,
- Track record of successfully leading expense management or financial optimisation initiatives.
- Expertise in FP&A, financial performance assessment and solid commercial acumen.
- Experience using business performance tools such as Anaplan or Workday is highly desired.
- Proven leader and ability to build and maintain a high performing team.
- Track record of demonstrating the ability to make a difference in past roles and ability to identify, model and be a champion for growth.
