**About the opportunity**:
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager this is a permanent full time Perth metro-based position within an established HSEQ Team. Our current portfolio comprises Land Development and Civil Infrastructure in the Perth metro area.

As the HSEQ Advisor you will be working across multiple sites with our employees and contractors, with exposure to main roads, underground services, bulk earthworks, concrete works, and residential sub-divisions. You will be equipped with a fully maintained company vehicle and tools required for the position.

**Specific responsibilities**:

- Be actively involved with project start up, CRAW risk assessments, develop permits, the implementation and maintenance of project HSEQ Management Plans, and on-site safe systems of work.
- Provide support, guidance and coaching to all workers relating to HSEQ.
- Actively promote methods to identify, eliminate or control hazards in the workplace.
- Advise and assist project personnel in matters relating the successful implementation of project HSEQ systems and processes.
- Conduct internal HSEQ inspections, observations and focus audits.
- Facilitate and manage external HSEQ audits.
- Develop and conduct inductions, toolbox meetings, internal training and awareness as required.
- In conjunction with senior site personnel, undertake and lead incident investigations, using the ICAM methodology to identify root cause, corrective and preventive actions monitoring and closure.
- Regular review and audit of on-site safe work method statement compliance.
- Perform other duties within the organisation that may be necessary to suit operational requirements.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- 5+ years WHS experience in civil infrastructure or construction in the metro area.
- Experience in residential land development preferred, but not essential.
- White card.
- Minimum Cert IV OSH.
- ICAM preferred.
- Internal Audit.
- Manual Driver License
- First Aid certificate
