**About the opportunity**:
This is a permanent full-time on-site role reporting to the project manager and dotted line to the HSEQ Manager. Our current portfolio which comprises Land Development and Civil Infrastructure in the Perth metro area and mining in the Pilbara.

We are looking for experienced HSEQ advisors to join our growing team. This is a permanent position with an 8:6 roster working on a regional civil construction project with a Tier 1 Gold Company in the Northern Pilbara.

As the HSEQ Advisor you will be working with exposure to bulk earthworks, non-process infrastructure and civil construction.

**Specific responsibilities**:

- Be actively involved with project start up, CRAW risk assessments, develop permit, implementation and maintenance of project HSEQ Management Plans, and on-site safe systems of work.
- Conduct on site inductions and issue of PPE.
- Report using the Donesafe and Chess WHS management sytems.
- Provide support, guidance and coaching to all personnel relating to HSEQ.
- Actively promote methods to identify, eliminate or control hazards in the workplace.
- Advise and assist project personnel in matters relating the successful implementation of project HSEQ systems and processes.
- Conduct internal HSEQ inspections and observations.
- Facilitate and manage external HSEQ audits.
- Develop and conduct inductions, toolbox meetings, internal training and awareness as required.
- In conjunction with senior site personnel, undertake and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions monitoring and closure.
- Regular review and audit of on-site safe work method statement and JSEA compliance.
- Work with the client and understand their expectations and adopt them as required into RJV.
- Perform other duties within the organisation that may be necessary to suit operational requirements.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- 5+ years WOSH experience in civil infrastructure construction in the metro area.
- Experience in residential land development preferred, but not essential.
- Trainer and accessor
- Minimum Cert IV WOSH.
- Internal auditor.
- ICAM Trained.
- Manual Driver License.
- First Aid certificate.
