**About the role - HSEQ Advisor**
- Support Service Line Managers, Superintendents, and Supervisors and assist them achieve HSEQ continual improvement.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of the HSEQ Management System.
- Assist in developing and implementing processes and procedures and ensuring existing processes remain current and compliant with internal and external requirements.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of compliance requirements and advising stakeholders.
- Ensure Yurra maintains ISO compliance requirements for 9001,14001 and 45001.
- Auditing observed processes, plant, areas, and activities and prepare audit reports.
- Assist workgroups in the risk assessment of workplace hazards of plant and activities.
- Participate heavily in the production, testing and roll out of in-house software functions.
- Other duties as requested by the HSEQ team.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Current and active Australian C-Class Driver's License (no E-class)
- Minimum Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety
- 4-6 years of HSEQ advisory experience in Environment, Quality, Health & Safety
- 1-2 years experience working in a HSEQ role on civil project/s
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen & other client site access requirements
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Rio Tinto site access inductions
- Experience in Project Management
- Firefighting/Emergency management experience and/or qualifications
