Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.

We are seeking a skilled
**HSEQ Advisor** to drive safety culture at our new mining project located North of Leinster in WA on a permanent full-time basis working a 8/6 roster FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager and with active support from the Group Manager HSEQT, the HSEQ Advisor is responsible for providing a visible and hands-on approach to safety across our project operations. This consists of providing HSEQ on-site support, advice, practical expertise, and solutions including both risk and injury management.

To be effective in meeting responsibilities for this position, the HSEQ Advisor will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong work ethic, solid leadership, and initiative to effectively manage a varied workload.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure company and relevant third-party activities comply with relevant health and safety standards, and applicable Acts and Regulations.
- Ensure HSE programs (e.g., fitness for duty, injury management and rehabilitation, surface ventilation) are maintained to meet company’s policy requirements.
- Ensure the applicable registers are maintained, and that systems are in place to identify early any relevant legislative changes.
- Ensure HSE obligations outlined in relevant legislation and regulations are met.
- Ensure reports are submitted to regulatory authority.
- Ensure all work undertaken is compliant to relevant OHS legislation.
- Conduct hazard & risk assessments as required and communicate outcomes to all relevant personnel.

**About you**:

- Experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Previous experience providing HSEQ services in a remote environment.
- Relevant qualifications in OH&S (Cert IV), Diploma level or higher.
- Cert IV Training and Assessment.
- Working knowledge of OH&S legislation & HSEQ management practices.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Easy and approachable interpersonal skills with all, from ground staff to CEO.
- Excellent computer skills with a sound knowledge of the MS Office.
- ICAM or Taproot methodology.
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen
- Provide a current police clearance.
