**Our client is a rapidly growing global insurance specialist,** seeking an up and coming dedicated compliance professional, with a strong Financial Services background. Join this growing business with an inclusive culture and flexible hybrid working environment.

As a
**Compliance Analyst you **will become an integral part of the growing compliance team; their
- **Immediate role**: Initially on a temporary basis
- **Duration**: 6 months with a view to extend
- **Hybrid**: Work from home - 2 days based in the CBD office
- **Rate**: $35 - $40 + super per hour

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the continuous improvement of the Compliance Management Framework ensuring that it meets legislative and industry standards
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the Compliance Management Framework, ensuring all plans, policies and procedures, reporting, training is kept up to date
- Support the risk and compliance team to conduct deep dive reviews for risk and compliance matters
- Ensure continuous process and control enhancements are developed and implemented in line with business growth and risk maturity;
- Proactively identify and communicate compliance matters brought by changes to legislation and other regulatory requirements within Australia by providing updates to employees
- Monitor and support the Reporting Calendar to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
- Designing and delivering compliance solutions and support to the overall business with commitment to continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Day to day support of the Risk and Compliance Team

**To be successful, you must have**:

- 2+ years’ experience gained within the Financial Services Industry;
- Understanding and practical experience of compliance requirements, obligations and controls management;
- Proven ability to understand regulatory and business changes and translate these changes into practical actions;
- Knowledge and experience in the Australian Financial services sector;
