Our ambitious transformative Health Partner strategy is about changing the nature of the nib business to orient towards patient-led, preventative health rather than our traditional ‘payer’ role as a health insurer.
In this newly created role, you will lead the design direction and strategy of nib’s payer to partner transformation with an understanding of our business objectives, technical constraints and end-to-end user experience. As a Lead Product Designer, you will also be responsible for:- Utilising user research to better inform design decisions and take into consideration the broader member experience- Leading research and design activities to understand customer jobs-to-be-done, product desirability and usability- Solve complex problems with solutions that align with our customer experience principles- Facilitate design workshops with key stakeholders and keep clear communication on design projects and initiatives- Mentoring and provide coaching to the design team and promote design thinking within the broader organisation

With proven experience in a similar role and a strong passion for empowering, growing and motivating other designers, other skills that will set you up for success for this role include:
- Ability to articulate and drive a strategy for design- Previous experience in utilising user testing research, personas and mental models- Strong understanding of research methodologies across the product lifecycle- Previous experience working on large scale projects with various teams such developmental teams- Strong analytical mindset and ability to bring insights to identify core issues and innovate in our domain- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity, whilst being able to maintain strong collaboration with key stakeholders- Deep knowledge in design tools like Figma would be desirable
