This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position whilst maintaining open channels of communication.
The Outpatient Services, Clinical Access and Operations aims to provide governance, accountability and management of outpatient services to ensure consistency across the patient care continuum. The team provides governance and management of the functional space and provides nursing and administrative support to the specialties that provide outpatient care in this area.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Effectively communicate with clients and staff demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive attitude.
- Exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken, by managing workloads appropriately; prioritising tasks and ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
- Provide high quality confidential administration support to the team.
- Act as a primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication.
