Your Family Dentist has been operating and serving the Box Hill community for over 20 years in Box Hill. Our practice prides ourselves on providing holistic and high-quality dental care to all our patients as a preferred service provider for major health insurance companies.

We are expanding our practice and are looking to add a friendly dental receptionist to our team. This role will commence in a casual employment capacity with the potential to move into a permanent full-time/part-time contract in the future. In addition, with progression (and should you be interested), you'll have the opportunity to be cross trained into other parts of the practice so that no day is definitely not the same

Our Receptionist will report to the Business Manager and will be supported by our Front Desk Coordinator. You will have an important role in facilitating our patient's treatment experience from check-in to check-out, supporting our dentists and dental assistants, and promoting our practice with your awesome customer service.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Minimum conversational proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (essential)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Available to work a rotating roster across Monday to Friday (9:00am to 6:30pm) and Saturday (9:00am to 2:30pm)
- Willing to obtain a Work with Children's Check (WWCC), a Police Check, and mandatory vaccinations.
- Able to demonstrate excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Able to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to demonstrate willingness to go above and beyond and, maintain a level head during peak periods in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about helping people achieve optimal health outcomes
- Can envisage how they would like to contribute to our fun and zestful working culture

**General tasks and responsibilities for this role includes**:

- Management of appointment books (i.e. scheduling/rescheduling)
- Assisting patients to fill out forms
- Processing HICAPS claims, taking EFTPOS payments and account management
- Act as a liaison between patients, dentists, labs, and suppliers
- Basic data entry and office duties (e.g. scanning, filing, letter drafting, document management)

**Salary**: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
