**About the client**:
Our client is a well-regarded operator in the resources sector who continues to deliver and operate across a range of projects across Queensland. They have an exceptional culture and are driven to grow their presence across the state.
**About the role**:
With a focus on the community and best practice corporate communications, a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Head of Reputation is now available in a senior leadership role for an initial 12-month fixed term contract.
As the Head of Reputation, you will lead a multidiscipline team to deliver the organisations work in communications, social investment, media and community relations to proactively enhance the company’s reputation and deliver on their corporate strategy.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow internal and external awareness of the organisations activities and acceptance of the company's (and industry's) operations through proactive engagement and timely information and advice.
- Monitor the assessment and mitigation of operational n and social impacts from the company’s activities, emerging non-technical issues and risks that may impact corporate reputation, resource access or license to operate.
- Lead and monitor the delivery on the conditions of Social Impact Management Plans and the commitments in the Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan.
- Support organisational culture initiatives, staff empowerment, integration and retention activities through driving a structured program of CEO, Leadership Team and Senior Leader engagements and communications within the organisation.
- Lead the design and implementation of strategic consultation and engagement activities with internal/external stakeholders to identify and manage on-ground community impacts.
- Lead the development and co-ordination of sustainability strategies that deliver on the company’s strategic and reputational objectives.
**About you**:
- Degree qualified in Communications, Public Relations or relevant field.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in engagement and communication planning at both a strategic and operational level, within a complex stakeholder environment.
- Experience with technologies underpinning contemporary communication practices (including social media).
- Ability to respond to and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Experience in energy or resources highly desired.
