As the Nominated Authority, you will perform the surveillance and verification of on-site works to ensure that critical works have and are being completed in accordance with the relevant documentation.
In addition to the above the key responsibilities of this role are:
- Carrying out and recording inspections of the works using relevant check sheets for activities defined on the principal contractors' ITP
- Liasing with the Sub-IREA and other stakeholders during Hold Point inspections identifying potential non-compliances, actual non-compliances, raising non-conformance documentation, and verifying the satisfactory implementation of rectification of non-conformances
- Releasing Hold Points that ensure that the critical works have been carried out in accordance with the IFC documentation.
To be successful you ideally have the following experience and capabilities:
- Preferably 15 years experience in Inspection or Engineering in any areas of roadwork construction, earthworks, concrete, precast and bridge works, steel work including welding inspection and coatings, electrical works, IT infrastructure, tunneling works, and fire systems.
