Are you a skilled and passionate Human Resource professional looking for a new challenge? BMD Northcliffe Surf Lifesaving Club has an amazing opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is for a maternity leave contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

With a modern and renovated venue featuring a 300-seat bistro, a dedicated TAB sports bar, 45 gaming machines and a fully weatherproof outdoor deck, we provide a dynamic fusion of dining, entertainment and sporting activities for our valued members and guests

**What Does This Role Involve**:
As the Human Resource Manager, you will report directly to the Club Manager and collaborate closely with senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include overseeing recruitment, onboarding and staff retention strategies, as well as providing expert guidance on employee relations and performance management. You will ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while developing and updating HR policies and procedures. Additionally, you will manage payroll, leave entitlements and employee compensation and benefits, and lead workplace health and safety initiatives in line with industry standards.

**Who Are You**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR management experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- A proactive approach to supporting and advising managers on all HR matters.
- Experience in workforce planning to meet future staffing needs.
