The Dirt Company is on a mission to make products that do less harm a better choice.

We create sustainable, beautiful and affordable laundry products with a focus on managing our own waste streams which includes our in house refill return system for our refill packs.

All our products are assembled and shipped from our warehouse in Brunswick and our team is looking for a new full time Warehouse & Production Supervisor to help get those products out the door to our growing customer base.

The role will include the following;
- Receive and process incoming goods/deliveries
- Pack and dispatch outgoing goods/deliveries
- Operate the forklift
- Data entry into our stock management system
- Help create and manage the production roster each week (and be one of our production operators - see next dot point)
- Be a member of the production team (you will likely do 1-2 shifts per week). These “shifts” include;
- Operating a single head bottling machine
- Line change overs (we fill a few different types of laundry detergents and stain removers)
- Assemble stock (screwing on caps, folding boxes, palletising stock)
- Run monthly machine wash production (this is one of our products we batch in house)
- Run monthly stocktakes
- Basic non-trade maintenance of filling machinery
- Pick, pack and label customer orders (this will be ad hoc as required as its generally done by the fulfilment team)
- Process refill return packaging - we re-use refill packs that customers send back (this will be ad hoc as required)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ensure our product is filled, stored and dispatch up to our quality standards
- Constantly evaluate our processes and update as required - we’re a quickly evolving business and encourage all staff to be constantly evaluating how we can provide a better product and service to our customers

**Requirements**:

- 5 days per week Mon-Fri
- Manual drivers licence required
- Forklift licence required (or must be willing to get one)
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work in an orderly manner and leave a clean working environment
- You’re into sustainability and doing what you can to reduce waste in the world
- No previous experience required - just a desire to learn and committment to the job at hand
