About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide and coordinate high level effective and confidential support services to the Department of General Surgery (including Urology & Vascular).
About you
- Provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support to members of the Surgical & Critical Care Management team incorporating established priorities, task methodology and work practices to achieve results in line with the corporate goals of the programs.
- Provide a focal contact point for staff and the public to help assist with enquires.
- Coordinate, lead and manage the administrative team which includes medical typing, outpatient administration officers and chart preparation team whilst meeting targets and KPI's according to the SOSIS Guidelines as well as maintaining mandatory training requirements.
- Prepare, update & distribute meeting agendas to appropriate committee members, take accurate minutes of meetings and disseminate to committee members.
- High level knowledge of the QLD Health systems used within surgical services outpatients such as ESM, HBCIS, Smart Referrals, SWIMS, Dragon and Winscribe.
