**An excellent opportunity has arisen in a Leading Underwriting Organisation for a Motor Vehicle Underwriter.**

Reporting to the South Australian Manager, you will provide expertise that continues the ongoing growth of the business, whilst providing a high level of customer service to clients.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Underwriting of heavy and commercial motor business;
- Build and maintain working relationships with Intermediaries;
- Cover and retain the company’s risk exposure;
- Monitoring existing business portfolios;
- Review adverse renewals;
- Underwriting of renewals, new business and endorsements.

To be considered for this specialised role, you will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar underwriting role. You must have the ability to make sound underwriting and business decisions, be customer service orientated, maintain a high level of attention to detail and possess strong communication and computer skills. Current ANZIIF Insurance Industry recognition is desirable but not essential. A competitive salary will be offered should you possess the attributes to meet this challenging role.
