**_Where you’ll be working_**
The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you’ll be doing_**
In this role you will be required to Support and coordinate the delivery of an effective grant management function across the Cancer Institute NSW. This includes contract management milestones and key performance indicator monitoring and review.
It is desirable for you to have an understanding of general accounting standards, NSW procurement policies and financial management issues in the public sector.
**_ Remuneration/Benefits_**
In addition to base salary:
- 5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience in grants management including contract management and financial acquittals.
- Sound understanding of general accounting standards, NSW procurement policies and financial management issues in the public sector.

- Please describe your experience in grants administration and your skills in budget and financial management as relevant to grants administration.
- Please give an example of a project (ideally a grant scheme) you have managed where you were responsible for monitoring project milestones and explain what tools you used to ensure that the project/grant was meeting its milestones?
