Reporting to the Brisbane Sales Manager, the position is responsible for building sales within a designated territory and market segment encompassing general metal products, leveraging the business' large portfolio of products and solid service offers. The position will require developing strategic business relationships to gain an understanding of industry specific needs and toindustry-specificny is seen as a key partner within our customer base. As a Sales Professional, you will have a strong focus on identifying sales opportunities, undertake weekly call plans, develop and implementing sales strategies, reporting on activities, maintain a positive work environment and have a strong customer service focus.
**Skills / Experience**
- 2+ years of demonstrated sales experience;
- Building industry sales experience with contractors & resellers;
- Strong external sales skills, customer-focused & responsive to clients;
- Well-developed communication, relationship building and influencing skills;
- Strong problem solving, time management and customer service skills;
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth;
- An energetic, outgoing, highly motivated and conscientious personality;
- Metal roofing and steel product experience preferred but not essential;
