We are looking for a motivated, proactive team player with a wide range of project delivery and governance experience to join our client as a
**PMO - Governance and Reporting Professional **on an initial
**12 month contract with view to extend.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide high level support to the program team with governance, reporting and project delivery uplift across the program and its 12 projects as well as coordinate and prepare program level briefings to enquiries.
- You will establish and manage regular project governance risk and issue, scheduling and dependency and other cross project governance meetings including the preparation of meeting artefacts.
- You will also maintain all project artefacts, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with governance and quality requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established project and program management methodology.
- You will provide monthly secretariat functions to support the operation of the Program Management Group, including supporting the chair, scheduling meetings, preparing and distributing meeting materials and preparing and distributing and following up meeting minutes and action items
**Requirements of the role**:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write succinct and accurate formal correspondence including the preparation of reports, briefs, budgets and documentation to a high standard.
- Extensive experience working in a project, program or portfolio management office with an excellent understanding project and program delivery and the governance and reporting requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to consult with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Resilient and with the ability to work in a matrix environment
- Tertiary qualifications in project management or equivalent will be highly regarded
- Gov experience, especially in education would be highly desirable.
- At least 3+ years experience in a PMO/Governance type role.
- Qualifications in Project Management would be highly desirable
