We are looking for an Injury Management Specialist to join our team in Sydney on a full-time or part-time basis

**About the role**

As an Injury Management Specialist, you will be joining a national occupational rehabilitation provider that is expanding its services in the DVA space. You will play a vital role in managing a DVA portfolio and with the continued growth of this portfolio, there will be genuine pathways to progress into a Team Leader role. As part of the team, you will help to build better lives through work and health.

**As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include**:

- Undertaking specific services and assessments such as; worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home and job analysis as required.
- Conducting initial assessments and identifying barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist veterans to achieve goals.
- Identifying psychosocial activities in collaboration with the veteran to address psychosocial needs and goals
- Promoting and supporting engagement in medical management of compensable conditions to optimise function.
- Facilitating development of independence in medical management.

**What you'll bring to the role**
- Qualifications and registration in **any** of the following:

- Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Physiotherapy
- Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence compulsory)
- Sound knowledge of DVA files and legislation
- Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
