**EL1 Audit Manager**
**Your new company**
Working within a large department on the South of Canberra that supports to deliver a breadth of policy and programs to better the lives of thousands of Australians.
**Your new role**
Working within a small team reporting to the Director of Internal Audit you will be required to support an established team in delivering the Departments Internal Audit program. Your role will require you to but not be limited too;
- Deliver the internal audit programs within agreed timeframes and in-line with the Audit Standards.
- Liaise with a variety of stakeholders, internal and external to create and maintain strong working relationships.
- Develop future plans to create a risk-based annual audit and consult with senior executive to inform of Departments risk.
- Be a clear concise communicator in both verbal and written forms.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to be an experienced internal auditor with the ability to adapt to new situations. You will have a clear concise understanding of Federal Government frameworks to be able to provide timely and accurate recommendations to the Department.
**What you'll get in return**
The role will be within an established team that have extensive capability and experience. You will be engaged on an initial 12-month contract with the possibility of multiple extensions or view to permanency.
