**About the position**
This position will work as part of the Access Team, providing comprehensive intake and assessment, mental health support and brief interventions to young people aged 12-25. This multidisciplinary team serves as the first point of contact to the service, and demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism in their approach.
Working within the headspace model, the team coordinates the clinical delivery of treatment and care, making sure young people and their families receive accessible, timely, responsive and suitable services to meet their needs.
Access Clinicians are energetic, enthusiastic and capable of working within the headspace model to deliver services within the community and enhance health care access for young people.

**Some of your key responsibilities will be**
- An understanding of the social and health needs of young people
- Demonstrated skills and experience in triage, assessment, care planning, psychological interventions and referrals for young people, families and groups
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of clinical and non-clinical services for young people with mental health issues and other psychosocial needs
- Ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team and to establish effective relationships with staff, clients, carers and workers in community agencies
- Maintain professional relationships with tertiary mental health services and other relevant service providers to support seamless service delivery.
