Elements of Byron is an award-winning beach front resort nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise. Reporting to our General Manager, the **Marketing Manager** is responsible for maintaining the resorts existing brand proposition and all expressions of it, as well as being the custodian of the resorts sophisticated marketing strategy.
**Ideally you will be available to start in July.**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Maintain the resorts brand within the travel market. Note: we have a very well-established brand and are not looking to make any ‘major’ changes to our strategy, therefore this role will predominantly focus on maintaining and elevating the existing brand and strategy.
- Manage the resorts annual marketing strategy encompassing on and offline efforts.
- Manage the resorts PR, Creative Agency and Digital Marketing Agency relationships and strategies.
- Handle all activation, collaboration, and partnership opportunities.
- Custodian of the resort’s website, WordPress platform, all domains and social media handles.
- Oversee the articulation and implementation of the social media strategy (via the resorts creative agency) including community engagement.
- Maintain the resorts CRM (DataArc) and subsequent EDM strategy (solus & auto-triggers).
- Custodian of the resorts google business accounts, PPC spend, analytics.
- Identify digital content requirements and oversee photo and video shoots.
- On an annual basis, work with the resorts Revenue and Sales Managers to articulate the Annual Rooms Mix budget and subsequent strategy by Market Segment.
- Craft and implement tactical campaigns as needed (marketing & distribution of these).
- Preparation, analysis, and presentation of the monthly Marketing suite of reports.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is essential - preferably 1-3 years
- Solid understanding of the pathway to book in the travel industry.
- Understanding of the marketer’s toolbox in travel, incl. content strategies, social media, web design, google analytics, the Australian media landscape, influencer engagement, collaborations, activations etc.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Creative mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Experience in agency performance management.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload to meet time frames.
- Intermediate skill level Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia and be an Australian citizen or resident.
