QCFM is a growing transport company specialising in temperature-controlled local and interstate road freight. We are based in Rocklea, Brisbane and we pride ourselves on our well-maintained and regularly serviced fleet, as well as the professional service we provide our customers.
We are currently seeking a professional, well-presented Transport Operations Support, with part time capacity (including weekend availability) to support our Qld Operations. The successful person will have a passion for transport and be eager to learn and be part of a growing transport team.
**Position Overview**
- Daily transport operations including vehicle allocation, driver rosters and driver support
- Ensure all business requirements and standards are achieved
- Complete daily administrative tasks including checking all driver and customer paperwork
- Liaise with customers to ensure all transport requirements are achieved
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure growth
- Participate in the effective reporting and investigation of all incidents including remedial or preventative actions
- Ensuring that drivers are compliant with all legislations within the road & transport industry
- Transport Operations & Administrative Support
- Driving support as required (MC/HC Licence required)
**General requirements of this position**:
- Knowledge of Road Transport rules and regulations
- MC/HC licence preferred
- Forklift licence preferred
- Experience working with temperature-controlled freight preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of Basic Fatigue Management preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated & honest
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Must have weekend availability with preferred days being - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
