Our client is looking for an ambitious Accounts Officer who can join them on a temporary to permanent basis
**The company**:
Our client is a well-established and dynamic organization based in the bayside area of Sydney. They are looking for an immediately available Accounts Officer to come on board. This can be a great opportunity for an ambitious someone who would like to grow within their accounting career. You'll be working in a close-knit team, reporting directly into the CFO.
**The role**:
- Accounts Payable full function
- Accounts Receivable full function
- Responsible for processing invoices and ensuring debts are paid on-time
- Process invoices, payment runs for trust, weekly creditor payments, credit card reconciliation, petty cash reconciliation
- Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice requirements to satisfy GST processing.
- Management of collecting payments from customers for goods provided.
- Ensuring that payments are made within the terms outlined in the original invoice or contract
- Prepare and send invoices, statements and credit notes and adjustments to clients.
- Working with the Finance team to complete month end processing in a timely fashion
- Investigating questions arising from the Month and Year End process in a proactive fashion.
**Your Profile**:
- Proven experience in full function AP and AR
- Experience working in a high-volume environment
- Diploma or equivalent in accounting or finance
- Working towards or thinking of starting CPA would be a plus
