**THE COMPANY**

Carnaby Resources Limited is an Australian mineral exploration and development company focussed on copper and gold projects in the Mount Isa Inlier of Queensland and the Pilbara’s Mallina Basin and Yilgarn Margin of Western Australia.

**THE ROLE**

Carnaby is on the hunt for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic type to join our team in the role of a Exploration Geologist. Continued success and expansion at our exciting Queensland projects has created a need for growth in our team of quality Geologists.

Duties will consist of but not be limited to the following key areas:

- Supervision of various types drilling riggs, such as Reverse Circulation and Diamond, primarily operating in the collection of geological samples for analysis as well as advanced resource definition activities.
- Geological logging of drilling samples to identify any present mineralisation requiring follow up lab assay analysis.
- Remote soil and rock chip sampling as a preliminary mineral exploration technique.
- High level geological mapping to identify prospective ground for further mineral exploration.
- Supervision and interpretation of commissioned geophysical studies as a preliminary exploration technique.
- Data compilation and analysis from various sources and forms of mineral exploration techniques.

**THE PERSON**

**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Perth, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Australia (required)
