We have an exciting position for a Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist). Your role will be to ensure a high level of patient service is provided including meeting patient needs, maintaining patient service levels as well as monitoring and reacting to patient feedback.

What you’ll do:
- Perform Customer Service duties for both face to face and via telephone
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient services of the highest quality
- Respond to and resolve issues and provide a prompt service in line with expectations
- Work with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective management of the patient journey throughout the Practice.
- Book and confirm patients for Planning CT, Treatment, Nursing Review, Procedures and Consultations.
- Have sound knowledge of all Oncology booking and treatment procedures.
- Provide efficient & compassionate service to all patients, while maintaining a good working relationship with all staff members.
- Liaise with both internal and external support staff i.e. Imaging departments CNCs;
- Accurate and timely data entry into medical record system Mosaiq.
- Maintain appointment diaries and taking initiative to ensure sessions are fully booked.
- Oversee incoming call management, timely response to messages and answering of calls within three rings.
- Participate in the identification and implementation of service improvement initiative.

Who you are:
- The ability to work unsupervised and within a team- You are highly organised and efficient- You are focused on delivering positive patient experiences- You have oncology or health experience with knowledge of Mosaiq or other electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management system
