**About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for completion of the annual non-current asset stocktake and the provision of efficient and effective asset services to clients while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and approved policies and procedures.

About you

Maintenance of the Metro North Health Fixed Asset Register including but not limited to creation of asset shells, processing of disposals, transfers, and write-offs when appropriate and as required.
Ensuring that all assets are identified, and all relevant information is accurately recorded in the SAP S/4 HANA Finance System in accordance with current accounting policies and procedures.
Preparation of the monthly reconciliation of the Asset Modules with the General Ledger ensuring that all balances are correct and in accordance with guidelines set out by Queensland Health and Queensland Treasury.
Assist the Senior Finance Officer with the preparation and validation of schedules within the Annual Financial Statements as required.
