ATCO's Australian operations are headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative, customer-focused energy and infrastructure solutions.

ATCO owns and operates Western Australia's largest gas distribution network with more than 750,000 connection points and 14,000km of pipelines. ATCO also operates two progressive power generation stations - in Adelaide and the Pilbara. These facilities collectively generate 266 megawatts of power, providing energy for thousands of public sector, domestic, industrial and commercial consumers across the country.
- We currently have a new opportunity in the role of Regional Faults Response and Maintenance Technician based in our Albany Depot_**_._**
- This is a varied and fulfilling role responsible for undertaking a range of activities associated with the gas distribution network._

**What you will contribute to**:

- Support Faults and Emergency Response activities; Residential and Commercial meter changes, Inspections, Leak Survey, and the maintenance and construction associated with the Gas Distribution Network.
- Maintain the Albany LPG Storage Facility by conducting routine checks and liaising with third party contractors to ensure optimum LPG storage levels are maintained.
- Undertake maintenance and construction activities associated with the gas distribution network in line with ATCO Gas Australia’s Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and procedures.
- Operate independently or as part of a small team.
- Liaises with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that any disruption to supply or any work that impacts customers are fully communicated and, where possible, minimised.
- Participates in the "24/7 On Call Roster" at nominated intervals throughout the business cycle.
- Operates machinery, equipment and tools in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensures all activities and associated assets are recorded against correct cost centres to enable the accurate costing of all maintenance works and activities.
- Undertakes inspections of gas distribution assets and records and reports any integrity, performance and functionality issues in accordance with company procedures.

**About you**:

- Hold Energy Safety Class G Gas Fitting License
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members of the general public, our contractors and our community.
- Certificate III in Gas Industry Operations (Desired or training can be provided)
- Western Australia Construction White Card / Blue Card.
- Current C class drivers license (Medium Rigid (MR) Class Drivers License Desirable)
- Certificate in Excavator Operation (Desirable)
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate (Desirable)
