**About the opportunity**

Are you passionate about designing programs that empower Higher Degree Research (HDR) students? Do you thrive on collaboration and love finding creative solutions? We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and help bridge the gap between HDR support and the wider university landscape.

As a **Researcher Development Specialist**, you’ll work closely with various departments to understand how the Library can work with the broader university ecosystem to support early career researchers. Your ability to connect with key stakeholders and see the bigger picture will be instrumental in developing a solution that brings everything together. Whether it’s a people-focused strategy, a system-driven approach or cutting-edge training program, your innovative thinking will shape the way we support early career researchers to lead Sydney’s research objectives into the future.

**About you**
- strategic thinking with the ability to develop innovative solutions
- proven ability to influence stakeholders and to drive initiatives forward
- proficient stakeholder management skills to build and maintain strong relationships
- expertise in project management, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes
- experience in designing and developing programs tailored for researchers
