**Position Overview** **Key Responsibilities** **Strategic Business Development** - Identify, target, and secure new clients in the mining industry across Southern Africa. - Develop and execute growth strategies to achieve annual sales targets and market penetration goals. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at mining corporations. **Key Account Management** - Serve as the primary contact for Tier-1 mining clients. - Conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities. - Resolve complex client issues through technical expertise and resource coordination. **Market Intelligence & Expansion** - Analyze competitor activities and market trends to refine pricing, product positioning, and value propositions. - Explore growth opportunities in adjacent sectors (quarrying, construction, ports). **Sales Operations Leadership** - Manage distributor networks and field sales teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. - Monitor KPIs (revenue growth, profit margins, market share) and report biweekly to regional leadership. **Field Engagement** - Spend ≥70% of time traveling to mining sites for technical consultations, audits, and contract negotiations. - Lead on-site troubleshooting for tire performance and safety challenges. **Qualifications & Requirements** Mandatory - **Work Authorization**:Valid right to work in Australia (proof required). - **Industry Expertise**: - 5+ years of B2B sales experience in **mining** sectors. - Established network with mining operations, procurement heads, and fleet managers. - **Sales Competency**: - Demonstrated record of achieving >20% YoY growth in complex sales environments. - Expertise in large account development (>ZAR 50M contracts). - **Personal Attributes**: - Resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive in high-pressure settings. - Physically fit to navigate remote mining sites and endure extended travel (up to 4 weeks/month). - **Language**:Native or fluent English proficiency (written and verbal). **Preferred** - Proficiency in **Mandarin (spoken/written).**: - Technical knowledge of OTR tires or heavy machinery. **Compensation & Benefits** - Competitive base salary + uncapped commission - Travel allowance, fuel card, - Performance bonuses and career advancement opportunities. - Global career opportunity Pay: $75,443.55 - $191,784.23 per year **Benefits**: - Life insurance - Travel reimbursement - Work from home Work Location: Hybrid remote in South Perth WA 6151
