The Pricing & Performance Analyst role supports the Manager Pricing & Analytics and Manager WA Commercial in supporting business decision-making through provision of up to date and accurate costing of retail contracts, improving

the efficiency and accuracy of the pricing process and providing retail performance insights.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing and maintaining relevant pricing models for Perth Energy’s electricity and gas opportunities
- Liaising with Perth Energy’s trading and commercial sales teams to ensure model inputs are updated and producing accurate pricing outputs
- Running pricing models on an ad-hoc basis to produce timely and accurate costing for the retail team
- Assist in the developing of new pricing methodologies and processes to reflect changing energy market conditions and trends
- Ensuring pricing models and processes support quick turnaround of prices
- Troubleshooting and remedying any pricing process or model issues
- Prepare and develop regular performance analysis and insights e.g., weekly retail dashboards, monthly portfolio size reports, carbon neutral register, Salesforce reports
- Understanding, analysing and forecasting key commercial drivers of the business
- Fostering best practice use of Salesforce by the Perth Energy business

About You

What you’ll bring to the table
- Experience and/or working knowledge of the WEM, SWISS and ATCO distribution network desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Finance, Business, Commerce desirable
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar analytics-focused role
- Proven analytical skills and ability to manage and analyse mass data with a high attention to detail and ability to reconcile outcomes and inputs.
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Gentrack Velocity desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present ideas in a logical structured way
- A team player, able to establish, build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues
