The **Divisional Manager, Member Services** is an LGIS Executive position, responsible for the management, leadership and mentoring of the Member Services Team, who in turn have responsibility for the relationship with members and act as trusted advisors on all their risk transfer and risk management requirements.

**We will count on you to**:

- Lead and direct the Members Services Team so that they deliver sustainable results and achieve all agreed goals and performance indicators to ensure excellent member experience
- Lead day to day servicing of a portfolio of priority members, develop close member relationships and become a trusted advisor across all aspects of risk
- Interact with markets and placement of insurance policies for risks which sit outside of the Mutual, including property risks, financial lines, accident and health lines and workers compensation
- Present at industry events on current and emerging risks affecting the local government sector and articulating coverage response
- Proactively contribute to organisation strategy and cross-team collaboration as a member of the LGIS Management Executive
- Manage the process for the common due date renewal of Mutual member for all members
- Contractual reviews for the members, providing advice on the outcomes of the insurance and indemnity provisions

**What you need to have**:

- Demonstrated success in managing team relationships and senior level client relationships, with a focus on exceptional service
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the insurance industry
- Strong market relationships and experience with the placement and servicing of large and complex clients
- Excellent technical skills across property, motor, financial lines, workers compensation, accident and health and casualty classes of insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both on individual and group basis
