Our client is within the education sector and they are looking for a Data Analyst to be responsible for mapping, transforming and migrating data from complex legacy HR and payroll systems to SAP SuccessFactors.

This is a 6 month contract with an immediate start and potential extension. They require someone that can ideally start immediately or within 2 weeks' notice. It is a hybrid working model with 2-3 days in the office and is based in Parramatta.

This is ideal for someone with 2-3 years experience in a Data Analyst capacity migrating and transforming data from excel sheets for example and cleaning it up for a new system. You will be using Alteryx as the ETL tool so experience with that would be ideal along with SQL.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with BAs, Subject Matter Experts and Data Owners to map target system data specifications (templates) to relevant source data, ensuring each mapping is fully documented and signed off by Data Owners
- Ensure that data mappings and transformation logic is referenceable to agreed business rules and decisions at all times
- Create relevant data conversion scripts and transformation tables in ETL tool to convert and populate extracted data into each data template, ensuring that routines created are efficient, repeatable and scalable.
- Reconciliation of HR and payroll data between legacy and target systems, checking for data accuracy and completeness; prepare documented evidence to support reconciliation
- Analyse extracted and transformed data to determine any remediation and manufacture required

**Requirements**:

- Strong data analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (LMS or Employee Central) OR SAP Payroll would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrated experience analysing, mapping, transforming, loading and validating complex HR and payroll data for significant transformation projects/programs e.g. SAP SF, Workday, ADP, Peoplesoft
- Demonstrated experience in data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems, including parallel pay run processing
- Demonstrated ability to use industry standard ETL tools, such as Alteryx, and SQL to extract, transform and load HR and payroll data
- Advanced Excel skills

To be suitable you must have valid working rights in Australia and be able to work with unrestricted hours for the foreseeable future.
