House Made Hospitality are the creators of Hinchcliff house, a 4-level drinking and dining venue in the Sydney CBD set within a heritage wool store that encompasses Grana, Lana, Bar Mammoni and Level Two. Recently added to their portfolio is also Bar Mammoni, This Way Canteen, The Carrington, Rancho Seltzo and the brand new The Promenade on Bondi Beach.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced hospitality professional to lead the team as General Manager of The Promenade on Bondi Beach NSW for House Made Hospitality. The Promenade is located in the old Bondi Pavilion and is a brand new development that highlights the essence of Australian beach culture. Inspired by the textures, colours and sensations of the Pavilion and the natural forms of the coastal landscape around it, The Promenade is a casual, elegant space offering all-day dining from sunrise to sunset and beyond.

The General Manager of The Promenade is responsible for overseeing all areas of the venue and the management of all staff. In this high-level management role, you will take the lead in our busy venue to develop and maintain the team, ensuring the service we offer our guests is always above expectations. You will oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house professionals to build and maintain a positive culture across all areas of the venue and will be responsible for meeting overall role and business expectations.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Revenue generation and local area marketing
- Maintaining a profitable and efficient operation across all areas of the venue
- Leading and managing all teams and staff within the venue
- Developing & implementing superior service standards that consistently exceed guest expectations
- Working with Chefs and Restaurant/Venue Managers on menu development, budgeting and planning
- Overseeing stock control and management including purchasing
- Training, development and coaching of management and food & beverage staff
- Succession planning programs that focus on staff development and progression
- Financial management including cost control
- Implementing systems and processes to ensure the smooth running of the venue
- Managing the reservations system including taking bookings, greeting and seating guests
- Ensuring all areas of the venue are compliant with health regulations and that WHS is a focus for you and all team members

**About You**

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- Qualifications/Training in Hospitality Management
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar high-level management role
- At least 3+ years of experience at the appropriate level
- Customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Familiarity with hospitality management software programs
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Strong business acumen
- A driven and results-focused approach to work

Full-Time Salary: $110,000-$130,000

**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
