Pr Data Lead

This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The PR Data Lead will be a key figure in translating data insights into compelling PR opportunities for Montu and its portfolio of brands.

This role will involve working closely with the Data and Analytics team to interpret statistics and market insights to identify potential PR stories, and develop strategies to leverage these for effective media dissemination.

Success will be achieved through strong analytical skills, extensive experience with media reporting platforms, and a deep understanding of what constitutes a valuable PR story.

**Data analysis and story identification**
- Analyse data from various internal sources, including patient and demographic data, brand positioning and sentiment tracking, market research, and performance metrics, to uncover PR opportunities and trends
- Collaborate with the Data team and others as required to interpret data findings and translate information and statistics into actionable PR insights
- Identify and distil compelling PR stories and narratives from complex data sets and reports

**Media monitoring and reporting**
- Utilise media reporting and analytics platforms to monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and measure the impact of PR initiatives on behalf of the wider PR team
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into media performance and PR effectiveness
- Proactively use media monitoring and reporting platforms to identify trends for reporting to highlight organisational opportunities and risks
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on PR performance, media coverage, and the impact of data-driven stories
- Evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns based on data analysis and provide recommendations for optimisation

**Strategy, content and planning**
- Develop strategies to leverage data-driven insights for creating impactful PR campaigns and media pitches
- Work closely with the PR team to integrate data insights into broader communication strategies and plans
- Collaborate with content creators to craft press releases, articles, and other media materials that effectively communicate data-driven stories
- Ensure that data insights are presented in a clear, engaging, and accurate manner suitable for external media dissemination

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in a data driven PR role in media, marketing or communications.
- Current working knowledge of media relations and PR best practices
- Proven experience working with media reporting platforms and analytical tools
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to identify and extract meaningful PR insights from complex data
- Demonstrable experience working within amorphous or complex organisations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, topics, and projects
- Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with digital and social media platforms
- Experience working within a regulated industry is desirable
