Overview

Wotif, a travel website, is opening a Public Relations (PR) Specialist role based in Sydney. The PR Specialist will manage daily press office duties and engage with media and external stakeholders within the Expedia Group umbrella.

Responsibilities

- Analyse current industry developments to identify possible angles for coverage.

- Arrange interviews for Wotif representatives.

- Manage media relations and maintain connections with external stakeholders and sister brands within the Expedia Group.

- Coordinate periodic campaign tracking and report PR milestones to Wotif staff.

Qualifications

- PR/communications graduates with agency experience.

- A detailed journalist contact list.

- Firm understanding of the ANZ travel market.

- Analytical skills for travel industry data.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
