**4 x Permanent Full Time, 36 hours, 4 days**

Liverpool City Council is positioned to lead its community through immense change over the next ten (10) years. City Presentation covers a geographical spread of over three hundred (300) kilometres squared and one thousand seven hundred and eighty-two (1,782) assets spread across 41 suburbs in the Local Government Area (LGA). The LGA will double in capacity over the coming five (5) to ten (10) years.

We are looking for multiple Parks Operative to join our Parks teams to provide quality-based maintenance services to Council’s parks, gardens, and public trees in a timely manner.

**ABOUT THE ROLE.** You will be responsible for carrying out all works as directed by the Parks Coordinator/ or Team Leader in an effective and efficient manner which will include, park maintenance, tree maintenance, garden maintenance, weed control, rubbish removal, landscaping, street tree planting, park furniture and equipment repair, making safe damaged infrastructure and surfaces, cleansing services, operation of relevant plant and equipment

**ABOUT YOU.**

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

- MR Drivers Licence
- General Construction WHS (White Card)

Desirable but not essential:

- Knowledge of Horticultural practices
- Hold relevant licence or certificate in the following equipment: bobcat, frontend loader, chainsaw operations, backhoe, excavator.
