Waste Operative Muds

**1x Permanent Full Time - 36 hours, 4 days per week (Monday to Friday)**
**Salary: Grade 8 - $65,627.33 to $71,697.46 + Super + Allowances**

Liverpool City Council is looking for a Waste Operative to work in the Waste and Cleansing Department Illegal Waste Crew located at the Council’s Operation Center.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of Liverpool City by way of removing waste, recycling, litter, bin servicing in a cost and time effective manner to the high-quality standard that our LGA is accustom too. Operation of plant and equipment associated with the management and collection of illegally dumped waste.

Working in a safe manner and ensuring compliance with the WHS Act, RMS rules and regulations, Council Safety policies and procedures and in accordance with relevant industry codes of practice.

**ABOUT YOU.**

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

- HR Drivers Licence
- General Construction WHS (White Card)
- Implement Traffic control and Implement Traffic control plans tickets (or in the process of obtaining them)
- Demonstrated truck driving experience.
- Experience in waste removal.
- Experience in the operation of Street sweeper and Rear End Load Garbage Compactor
